Superb grip also in rainy conditions.

Tyre review for Michelin CrossClimate 2 215/55R16
5.00/5
Great tyres, handle high speeds with no problems, and are amazing in the rain. They also perform really well on country roads. They initially worried me as to how fast they would wear out due to how good the grip was, but they have retained a surprising amount of tread. I will definitely purchase again.

Tyre review for Michelin CrossClimate 2 215/55R16
5.00/5
These tyres are awesome; they have amazing grip for all season types. They do just as well in rainy conditions as they do in snowy ones (I tried to skid on the snow, but I stayed in control. maybe I wasn't really trying?). Also being extra load tyres gives me confidence when going out camping holidays, pulling all our stuff, the roof box, and the kids' bikes. I would definitely buy them again!

Steering is more direct and has better grip, while stopping is also good.

Tyre review for Michelin Primacy 4 195/55R16

Better traction of these tyres gives them better stopping distance. Previous tyres, of the same brand, had more than 2mm of tread, yet their stopping distance was clearly worse.

The tyres had responsiveness and good grip, however, with the price paid, the longevity of 10 months, is not great.

Hyundai Kona Electric Tyres: Your Questions Answered

The Hyundai Kona Electric offers tyre options at Tyres.co.uk. These include 215/60 R17 96H Michelin Primacy 5 and Goodyear EfficientGrip Performance 2 for MY26.5 Advance, and 235/45 R19 99V XL Kumho Ecsta PS71 and Nexen N'Fera Sport for N Line, N Line S and Ultimate which are fitted as standard. Please confirm the registration and door-placard specification before placing an order.

The Hyundai Kona Electric tyre size can be found on a placard located on the driver's-side centre pillar, which is visible when the driver's door is opened. This placard shows the original tyre size, the recommended cold tyre pressures, and load information. You'll want to compare the placard information to the information on the tyre sidewall and registration, since tyre fitments can vary by generation and trim.

There is no need to change all four tyres on Hyundai Kona Electric models: tyres can be replaced by axle pairs, provided the correct size, construction, load index and speed ratings are used. Since all versions of the Hyundai Kona Electric are front-wheel drive, no all-wheel-drive versions need all four tyres to be the same; when two new tyres are fitted, they should be placed on the rear axle in line with UK tyre-safety guidance.
