Hyundai Veloster Tyres
As a hatchback with unique styling, Hyundai's Veloster provides a unique driving experience. The Veloster can benefit from various tyre options based on driving needs. They should feature a solid grip in the wet and provide a distance for reliable, consistent braking for driving in urban areas and for longer motorway journeys. The different driving patterns covered by the tyres should provide responsive steering and a focus on running smoother and quieter.
Because of the various trims of the Veloster, the different generations and years, the Hyundai Veloster tyres that fit one Veloster may not fit another Veloster. Veloster tyres should include a fitment that meets all the criteria for that specific Veloster, i.e. The size, the load index, and the speed rating. Specifications for a Veloster can be found on the existing sidewall of the tyres, in the vehicle handbook, or through the registration details of the vehicle. The correct specifications of tyres also provide a Veloster with safe braking, comfort during the ride, and a balanced handling experience.
For these reasons, Tyres.co.uk provides Veloster drivers with the ability to select tyres for their vehicle and have them fitted at a local garage.

Tyre review for Michelin Primacy 4 225/50R17
Steering is more direct and has better grip, while stopping is also good.
Bonnie-Rose Eathan
Tyre review for Michelin Primacy 4 195/55R16
Better traction of these tyres gives them better stopping distance. Previous tyres, of the same brand, had more than 2mm of tread, yet their stopping distance was clearly worse.

They perform well in all weather conditions, and they in particular excel in rainy weather.

Kumho Ecsta PS71
Tyre review for Kumho Ecsta PS71 255/40R17
Initially, the tyres were fitted during pleasant weather, and they impressed us with their grip and silence. They were much better than the cheap ones we had before. Now, with the cold snap, they are also handling brilliantly with ice, so we look forward to seeing how they will do when the snow comes.

Tyre review for Kumho Ecsta PS71 225/35R20
Great traction on wet and dry surfaces and the tread holds up well. They could be slightly noisier than the Pirelli ones I had before, though the better performance compensates for that.

At Tyres.co.uk, Hyundai Veloster tyre options include Michelin Primacy 5 and Goodyear EfficientGrip Performance 215/45 R17 for the 1.6 GDi Veloster with 17-inch wheels. Check the load index, speed rating, and any XL specifications on the driver's side placard and vehicle registration before purchasing.
Details regarding the Hyundai Veloster tyres can be found on the tyre-and-loading placard located on the driver's-side centre pillar (known as the B-pillar or door jamb) and is visible when the driver's door is open. It contains information about approved tyre sizes and their cold tyre pressures. If the wheels have been changed, please compare the information with the tyre sidewall and the owner's manual.
The Hyundai Veloster typically doesn't require all four tyres to be replaced, as it's front-wheel drive and no factory drivetrain version has all-wheel drive, so there's no need for closely matched tyres across both axles. If possible, replace tyres as an axle pair with the same specifications. In the case where only two new tyres are fitted, UK tyre safety guidance recommends that the new tyres are fitted to the rear axle.
