Hyundai Matrix Tyres

The Hyundai Matrix is a compact MPV featuring a spacious interior that can tackle all types of everyday driving from school runs to family outings. Hyundai Matrix tyres should give solid traction in the rain, good deceleration and control in a straight line. Depending on the purpose, some tyres may prioritise comfort on longer journeys, along with quiet operation and better fuel economy.

There is no universal Hyundai Matrix tyre fitment as every generation, model year, variant and engine, as well as factory fitted wheels, create their own unique requirement. The correct Hyundai Matrix tyre also needs to fulfil the size, load index and speed rating. This is typically found on the existing tyres sidewall, in the vehicle's handbook, or on the vehicle's registration to ensure correct fitment. This is critical for the Hyundai Matrix in order to achieve the best handling, comfort and support for the intended load.

Hyundai Matrix owners can visit Tyres.co.uk to get the best tyre options in terms of cost, quality and brand, as well as the opportunity to book the most convenient local tyre fitment.

Fits the rim well, and is mid-range quality and pricing.

The existing tyres are doing an adequate job but my expectations for how long the front tyres would last were higher. Most of my driving is local, and there are a lot of roundabouts in this area.

They are beautiful tyres, and they help me to be confident and calm when driving. If only the roads were built to the same standard!

Avon ZV7 tyres provide excellent performance on the wet country roads and the rainy weather where I drive. They help with fuel economy and last a long time before needing to be changed. I feel confident driving on them and plan to put them on the back of my car soon. They are great value for a mid-range tyre.

Country roads in the Scottish highlands can be a bit of a challenge. However, I think I've solved most problems with my new tyres. They're so much better for cornering and braking, especially when it's raining, and they feel grippy enough to hold on to the road. I've also noticed that my car handles a lot better, and the tyres didn't break the bank either. I am very pleased with my decision.

Steering is more direct and has better grip, while stopping is also good.

Better traction of these tyres gives them better stopping distance. Previous tyres, of the same brand, had more than 2mm of tread, yet their stopping distance was clearly worse.

Hyundai Matrix Tyre FAQs

Hyundai Matrix tyre options at Tyres.co.uk include the Michelin Energy Saver+ and Pirelli Cinturato P1 in 185/65 R14 86H for standard-wheel versions. The Matrix also had 195/55 R15 options, plus 205/55 R15 on the 1.8 DOHC, so confirm the placard's required size, load and speed rating before ordering.

The Hyundai Matrix's tyre size and pressure specifications can be found on the outer panel of the driver's-side C-pillar. The label indicates the original tyre sizes as well as the recommended tyre pressures. Ensure that these match the sidewall of the tyre and the vehicle's handbook, especially if the Hyundai Matrix has custom wheels or tyres fitted.

As a front-wheel drive vehicle, Hyundai Matrix does not necessitate replacing all four tyres. No all-wheel-drive versions exist that impose a requirement for matching all four tyres. When replacing tyres, do so in pairs whenever possible. If you are fitting one or two new tyres, place the new tyre(s) on the rear axle.
