Country roads in the Scottish highlands can be a bit of a challenge. However, I think I've solved most problems with my new tyres. They're so much better for cornering and braking, especially when it's raining, and they feel grippy enough to hold on to the road. I've also noticed that my car handles a lot better, and the tyres didn't break the bank either. I am very pleased with my decision.

I replaced the two rear tyres after doing the front ones and one tyre from the front and back needs to be inflated every 6 to 8 weeks.

The front tyres will most likely need to be replaced soon, while the rears are about halfway worn. Traction in wet conditions is good and the wear seems to be what would be expected.

Better traction of these tyres gives them better stopping distance. Previous tyres, of the same brand, had more than 2mm of tread, yet their stopping distance was clearly worse.

These tyres are okay. It is not really about how long they will last, but the road dangers like potholes, nails, screws, and other crap that is the real issue.

They look similar to the budget tyres I have used previously. Perhaps they will last longer. My last cheap ones did 40,000 miles.

Hyundai Pony X2 Tyres: What Drivers Ask

For Hyundai Pony X2 models with the original 13-inch fitment, the tyre options available on Tyres.co.uk include Hankook Kinergy Eco 2 and Uniroyal RainExpert 3 in 155/80 R13 79T. Please check the tyre placard and existing tyre to confirm they match the correct size, load index, and speed rating before placing your order.

Information regarding the Hyundai Pony X2 tyre-size can be found on the tyre-pressure and loading sticker located inside the driver's front door opening on the door frame. This label contains the original tyre sizes along with the corresponding pressure limits, while the size is also imprinted on the sidewall of each tyre. If the wheels on the car are not standard, refer to the handbook.

Hyundai Pony X2 is front-wheel drive and does not have a four-wheel drive variant. Tyres do not need to be matched across all four wheels. Replace two tyres as a matched pair on the same axle where applicable; if a new pair is fitted, place it on the rear axle in accordance with UK tyre-safety recommendations. Replace all four tyres only when the tread wear or condition warrants it.
