Hyundai i20 Tyres
Hyundai i20's design as a small hatchback makes it viable for daily use within the city and even for quite a number of long road trips. Tyres on i20 are expected to have good wet grip and braking control. In addition, the i20 should have a quiet, comfortable and an easily drivable (efficient rolling resistance) showroom experience, especially when considering the use of the car on a daily basis. Also, the i20 offers variety in the selection of its wheels depending on the customer’s preference between comfort and handling.
Hyundai i20's different generations, model years, trim levels and engine options will have different wheel sizes. To ensure a comfortable, safe and well-handling car, the right tyres will need to be matched to the manufacturer’s specific size, load and speed requirements of the i20. This can be obtained from the current tyre sidewall, the i20's owner’s manual or other registration documentation.
Website Tyres.co.uk enables the i20 owner to carry out a quick and easy local tyre fitting practice the purchase of a new tyre in accordance with their performance, cost, and brand comparison.

They appear fine so far, although I still have to drive a long distance with them.

Tyre review for Kumho Ecowing ES31 175/60R15
I replaced the two rear tyres after doing the front ones and one tyre from the front and back needs to be inflated every 6 to 8 weeks.

Tyre review for Kumho Ecowing ES31 165/65R15
So far, they've been great and quieter than I thought they would be.

Tyre review for Kumho Ecowing ES31 215/60R16
The front tyres will most likely need to be replaced soon, while the rears are about halfway worn. Traction in wet conditions is good and the wear seems to be what would be expected.

Goodyear EfficientGrip Performance
Tyre review for Goodyear EfficientGrip Performance 195/60R15
These tyres are okay. It is not really about how long they will last, but the road dangers like potholes, nails, screws, and other crap that is the real issue.

Tyre review for Goodyear EfficientGrip Performance 215/45R17
Considering all the potholes we have to avoid and the many speed bumps we have to deal with, I would say these tyres are doing an outstanding job.

They look similar to the budget tyres I have used previously. Perhaps they will last longer. My last cheap ones did 40,000 miles.

I am glad I bought the tyres. They provide really good value for the performance offered.

Tyre review for Nankang Econex NA-1 175/80R14
Due to the reasonable price and load capacity, I fitted them on a twin-axle caravan. I can't comment on durability just yet, but so far, so good.

Tyre review for Nankang Econex NA-1 175/80R14
I am considering replacing them, even though it will be expensive, that's how bad I feel. It is just inaccurate. Forum users mentioned that my car would handle a lot better with this make and model, but that is just not true.

I purchased these tyres for my Ifor Williams trailer, and although I've only done about 200 miles with them, they have been good so far.

Tyre review for Hankook Ventus Prime 4 (K135) 215/45R17
They provide a sturdy feel and excellent grip. They are also quieter than competitors and perform equally well in both dry and wet conditions and seem to last longer than even Goodyear, Dunlop or Bridgestone tyres.

Tyres.co.uk recommends the Michelin Primacy 4 and the Bridgestone Turanza 6 for the 2026 Model Year Element and Black Line variants of the Hyundai i20. Hyundai states that the 87H size fits 16-inch wheels. Please ensure the load and speed rating on your order align with the centre-pillar label and the registration.
The Hyundai i20 tyre size is noted on the centre-pillar tyre-and-loading label (opening the door from the driver’s side). It also contains the cold tyre pressure and the manufacturer’s original tyre data. You can check if the sizes fitted are correct.
It is not necessary to replace all four tyres on a Hyundai i20 as they are all front-wheel drive, which means there is no all-wheel-drive system, making it unnecessary to replace all four. It is always preferable to replace a pair of tyres on the same axle with the same specification. If you replace only two tyres, fit the new pair to the rear axle.
