Hyundai Santa Fe Tyres

The Hyundai Santa Fe is a large SUV with tyres built for family trips, the school run, and longer journeys on the motorway. Hyundai Santa Fe tyres must enhance wet grip and braking, ease steering and allow the SUV to carry its load of people and luggage. While on the road, a touring tyre pattern can help cut road noise and improve fuel economy.

The Hyundai Santa Fe cannot have one standard size for all its models, because tyres will differ for different generations, trim levels, and for different factories’ options for the wheels. The tyre’s sidewall, vehicle manual and/or vehicle registration can help determine the specifics for Hyundai Santa Fe tyres: size, load index, and speed rating. The correct Hyundai Santa Fe tyres maintain the intended load capacity of the vehicle while improving ride comfort and safety.

Using Tyres.co.uk allows Hyundai Santa Fe owners to view and choose all the relevant tyres for ordinary usage and then book a local tyre fitting with much ease.

The tyres grip the road well regardless of wet or dry conditions. I do a lot of towing and even field work and I have no complaints. After a year of use, they appear to be wearing down at a reasonable rate.

As the fitter stated, the Avons began to crack at the bottom of the grooves at about 15,000 miles, despite having plenty of tread. I have now returned to Michelin Crossclimate 2, which I was unable to obtain previously.

Hyundai Santa Fe Tyres: Buying Guide FAQ

Tyres.co.uk adds two options for the 2019 Premium SE automatic model when looking for Hyundai Santa Fe tyres. These options are Michelin Primacy 5 and Pirelli Scorpion 235/55 R19 105W XL. Please note that, as with most cars, the different trim levels and model years may affect what fits on your Hyundai Santa Fe. For these models, check your label on the registration and driver’s door pillar.

Hyundai Santa Fe tyre size information is found on the placard, located on the driver’s side of the centre pillar, directly under the glass when the driver’s side door is opened. The placard shows original tyre sizes, as well as original cold tyre pressure, which should align with the sidewall of the tyre and the handbook before purchasing a new set of tyres.

Hyundai Santa Fe does not automatically need four new tyres. However, the company does suggest that for best safety and wheel alignment, the best option is to replace them all. In addition, the 4WD versions require that all four tyres match. If you are only replacement two of them, the UK’s road safety association suggests that the matched pair should go to the rear axle.
