Hyundai Accent Tyres

The Hyundai Accent is a multi-generational compact car that offers hatchback and saloon variants depending on the model year and market. Hyundai Accent tyres should offer good wet grip and braking control as well as comfort and low noise for driving on urban roads and the motorway.

There is a wide variety of Hyundai Accent tyres by generation, model year, trim, engine and factory wheel option. The best Hyundai Accent tyres should be the manufacturer-approved size with the matching load index and speed rating to ensure safe handling and comfort with efficient performance. The best way to determine the correct fitment of a specific Hyundai Accent is by checking the vehicle tyre sidewall, the vehicle handbook or its registration details.

Hyundai Accent owners can check the available options for suitable tyres by brand and by price and by performance and can purchase and book their local fitting directly through Tyres.co.uk.

Country roads in the Scottish highlands can be a bit of a challenge. However, I think I've solved most problems with my new tyres. They're so much better for cornering and braking, especially when it's raining, and they feel grippy enough to hold on to the road. I've also noticed that my car handles a lot better, and the tyres didn't break the bank either. I am very pleased with my decision.

Steering is more direct and has better grip, while stopping is also good.

Better traction of these tyres gives them better stopping distance. Previous tyres, of the same brand, had more than 2mm of tread, yet their stopping distance was clearly worse.

I replaced the two rear tyres after doing the front ones and one tyre from the front and back needs to be inflated every 6 to 8 weeks.

The front tyres will most likely need to be replaced soon, while the rears are about halfway worn. Traction in wet conditions is good and the wear seems to be what would be expected.

Buying Hyundai Accent Tyres: FAQ

Tyres.co.uk supplies Michelin Energy Saver+ and Bridgestone Turanza T005 available in 185/65 R14 86H for the 2006 1.5 CRDi 110. If you are not sure what tyres to buy for your Hyundai Accent, different models, generations, and even different wheel types may require different tyres, so check the placard for the correct size and load index before purchasing.

The tyre size is located on the tyre-and-loading placard, and is situated on the driver's side centre pillar, next to where the door opens. This placard indicates the original tyre size and the recommended cold tyre inflation pressure. When buying replacements, work from the placard and keep to the recommended load index and speed rating.

The Hyundai Accent is FWD and has no factory all-wheel-drive version, therefore there is no need to replace all four tyres. Only replace all four tyres due to necessity from wear, age or damage. Otherwise, replace tyres by axles. When two new tyres are fitted, UK safety recommendations state they should be fitted to the rear axle.
