ZT5 Tyres description & features

Avon ZT5 tyre has been manufactured for small and medium passenger cars as a touring tyre with focus on wet braking performance and dispersion of water from the treads. Rubber compound used is beneficial for wet grip. Features four circumferential grooves as well as tread slits.

ZT5 was the replacement of the ZT3 and was followed by the ZT7. This tyre comes in an XL variant. There is also an XL variant of the reinforced type. They can be distinguished according to their marking on the sidewall. Tyres.co.uk sells the ZT5 and the Reinforced XL type.

They are awesome, and feel way better than all my previous tyres that I had to pump up. Honestly, they are worth the money and feel good. I had it sent to the garage because it is cheaper than what a garage would typically charge. Excellent!

It is still too early to have a clear picture of any potential improvements on rough surfaces. However, there have been no notable issues with the rainy weather the UK has experienced recently. Braking distances and grip to the road have improved and driving in the rough conditions is as expected.
