Roadrider MK11 Tyres description & features

The Avon Roadrider MKII sporty touring tyres are focused on wet road grip and stable cornering at speed. Avon Roadrider MKII second generation uses a new compound, and other improvements, to achieve this. Sipes on the tread block interact and strengthen under load. Deep grooves remove the water, and the new compound improves wet grip by 10% over the Roadrider AM26 MKI. The Roadrider MKII are designed to give useable feedback to the rider and improve edge stability at higher speeds. They MKII replace the AM26. Tyres.co.uk has your Avon Roadrider MKII.

The Avon Roadrider MK11 tyres have been great. I have good grip from them, especially on the winding roads where I live and used to worry about soft corners with my old tyres, but I feel so much better about it now. They also seem to perform decently in the rain which is good. No significant road noise has been noticeable, and the ride is comfortable. Considering the decent mileage expected, when it comes to changing tyres again I will definitely consider these.
