Nissan Almera Tyres

The Nissan Almera is a compact family car available with both hatchback and saloon bodies in several generations. As such, its tyres can be expected to handle the demands of the daily family journey and the regular UK roads. Tyres for the Nissan Almera should support good wet weather grip, along with the ability to brake in a controlled manner. For the daily journey, a tyre that is more oriented towards touring can help provide a better ride quality, less road noise and improved fuel economy.

There are no standard Nissan Almera tyre sizes as Almeras produced in different generations, model years, trims, engines and even factory wheel options will differ in size. To ensure the appropriate size, specification, load index and speed rating, a Nissan Almera driver should reference the existing tyres, the vehicle handbook or their registration details. This ensures that the vehicle's primary functions of comfort and carrying load are not compromised.

By using Tyres.co.uk, Almera drivers can view all the tyres available to them based on fitment, brand and price, and then arrange for the fitting to take place at the most suitable location. The fitment for the Nissan Almera that has been confirmed will ensure that the tyres supplied to them comply with the manufacturer and wheel specifications for the vehicle.

They appear fine so far, although I still have to drive a long distance with them.

I replaced the two rear tyres after doing the front ones and one tyre from the front and back needs to be inflated every 6 to 8 weeks.

So far, they've been great and quieter than I thought they would be.

The front tyres will most likely need to be replaced soon, while the rears are about halfway worn. Traction in wet conditions is good and the wear seems to be what would be expected.

The existing tyres are doing an adequate job but my expectations for how long the front tyres would last were higher. Most of my driving is local, and there are a lot of roundabouts in this area.

They are beautiful tyres, and they help me to be confident and calm when driving. If only the roads were built to the same standard!

Avon ZV7 tyres provide excellent performance on the wet country roads and the rainy weather where I drive. They help with fuel economy and last a long time before needing to be changed. I feel confident driving on them and plan to put them on the back of my car soon. They are great value for a mid-range tyre.

Country roads in the Scottish highlands can be a bit of a challenge. However, I think I've solved most problems with my new tyres. They're so much better for cornering and braking, especially when it's raining, and they feel grippy enough to hold on to the road. I've also noticed that my car handles a lot better, and the tyres didn't break the bank either. I am very pleased with my decision.

Better traction of these tyres gives them better stopping distance. Previous tyres, of the same brand, had more than 2mm of tread, yet their stopping distance was clearly worse.

Nissan Almera Tyres: Your Questions, Answered

Tyres.co.uk offers Michelin Primacy 4 and Bridgestone Turanza T005 in 185/65 R15 88H for the Almera II (N16) models. If these tyres are fitted as original equipment, check the driver's door placard and registration to verify the tyre size, load index, and speed rating. Note that the Almera has various generations and trims, and thus, can vary in dimensions.

The tyre specifications for the Nissan Almera are on the tyre pressure placard located on the centre pillar of the driver's side door. This placard has the original equipment size and the cold pressures of all four original factory fitted tyres. Check these against the tyre sidewall and the registration, as specifications vary across the generations and trims of the Almera.

It is not necessary to replace all four tyres of a Nissan Almera if the other three are serviceable, provided the same size, construction, load index, and speed rating are maintained on all four wheels. Since the Nissan Almera models sold in the UK are of a front wheel drive design, there is no requirement to match all four tyres to a like for like for four wheel drive. When two new tyres are fitted to a Nissan Almera, these must be fitted to the rear axle.
