Nissan Primastar Tyres
The Nissan Primastar is a lightweight commercial van, whose tyres should withstand the demands of daily business transport and long motorway journeys as well as urban deliveries. Tyres fitted on the Nissan Primastar should offer good wet grip and braking as well as be of a commuting noise and comfort oriented tread. This will make the many journeys more pleasant for drivers and passengers alike. Primastar tyres should also consider the van's working load and regular usage in order to provide good running and control.
Nissan Primastar tyres can be different based on their generation, trim, engine and factory fitted wheel. The best way to check what Nissan Primastar is fitted with is to check the existing tyre sidewall, the vehicle manual or check the vehicle registration. The tyre size, load index and speed rating directly impact the vehicle's safety, comfort, carrying capacity and most importantly the control and handling of the vehicle.
Tyres.co.uk offers Nissan Primastar users the ability to check and purchase the most appropriate tyres and schedule a fitting for the most convenient time.
Michelin Agilis CrossClimate
Tyre review for Michelin Agilis CrossClimate 215/75R16
Generally good performance with a strong grip in wet and dry conditions. Winter weather performance is far superior to that of summer tyres.

Tyre review for Michelin Agilis CrossClimate 225/70R15
I have yet to test them in conditions that require additional grip. Nonetheless, the grip design provides a more comfortable and quieter ride.

Tyre review for Michelin Agilis CrossClimate 235/65R16
I bought these for the second time because the first set lasted my car 4 years and 45,000 miles. They are quite and very good on countryside paths, Cornish lanes, and wet muddy fields. I've never been left stranded or lost traction. Very happy.

Michelin Agilis 3
Tyre review for Michelin Agilis 3 215/65R16
The Michelin Agilis 3 tyres work exceptionally well in wet conditions and are excellent at managing high weight capacities. Personally, I carry a lot of tools and materials in my van and I would recommend these tyres. They are also very quiet when driving, so there is no noise.

Tyre review for Michelin Agilis 3 225/75R16
The noise generated by these tyres is rather reasonable as they appear to be wearing in nicely. They also handle remarkably well and braking is quite effective.

They're okay but do seem to slip a bit on the hills.

Overall performance is excellent and I was happily surprised as to how they dealt with the snow. I would most certainly buy these again.

Tyre review for Avon AV12 215/70R15
It's working well, but I'm disappointed the garage didn't swap out the valves. For the age of the car (18 years), you'd think that might be a safety concern.

I haven't had any problems, but I don't drive very often since I'm retired.

Continental Van Contact 200
Tyre review for Continental Van Contact 200 205/65R15
It might be early to give a thorough breakdown of these tyres' long term performance, but they seem to offer a better experience on the road. They are softer and I notice a drop in noise level while driving. I even think I've seen an increase in fuel efficiency, seeing as I average 4 mpg more on a recent trip to Wales.

Tyre review for Continental Van Contact 200 235/65R16
Quieter and better cornering.

At Tyres.co.uk, options for Nissan Primastar Michelin Agilis 3 and Goodyear EfficientGrip Cargo 2 both score highly. These are offered in 215/65 R16C 106/104T for the 16-inch OEM fitments for the 2022 Primastar II 2.0 dCi 150. Prior to purchase, check the load and speed ratings on the registration, as they are on the driver's door sticker.
The tyre size for the Nissan Primastar can be found on the tyre pressure label the inner side of the driver's door. It shows the approved cold and hot inflation pressures for the tyres for different vehicle loads. It also provides the approved tyre sizes for the vehicle. Consult this in place of the popular sizes on this page. If the label is missing, then check the handbook.
As a front-wheel drive vehicle, no factory variations of the Primastar have an all-wheel drive system, hence there is no requiremnet for all four tyres to be of the same match. It is recommended to replace tyres in pairs (on the same axle). In the UK, if one axle has been replaced with new tyres, the recommendation is to keep the same pair of tyres on the other axle as a matching pair.
