Nissan Primera Tyres

Nissan Primera tyres can fit mid size family cars in saloon, hatchback and estate variations across multiple generations. They should be suitable for wet grip, ensure good stability on the road and some level of comfort for long distance commuting and even longer motorway journeys. In the UK, Nissan Primera tyres should focus more on touring, offering comfort and a quiet ride for the long distance journeys.

Nissan Primera tyres should be designed on a case by case basis, since there are a large number of options for each variant. Primera tyres should be designed to match each variant of the Primera in terms of size, load index and speed rating. The specifications can be determined by the sidewall of the existing tyres, the vehicle's user manual, or the vehicle registration in order to find out which Nissan Primera tyres would be satisfactory for every day use but more importantly safe.

For Primera owners, Tyres.co.uk offers the convenience of scheduling local fitment for tyres selected by the owner. Each of the tyre displays offers the design specification to assist with the selection of a tyre for the Nissan Primera.

I replaced the two rear tyres after doing the front ones and one tyre from the front and back needs to be inflated every 6 to 8 weeks.

So far, they've been great and quieter than I thought they would be.

The front tyres will most likely need to be replaced soon, while the rears are about halfway worn. Traction in wet conditions is good and the wear seems to be what would be expected.

Steering is more direct and has better grip, while stopping is also good.

Better traction of these tyres gives them better stopping distance. Previous tyres, of the same brand, had more than 2mm of tread, yet their stopping distance was clearly worse.

No significant difference from the prior set of tyres. Changed them when they were about 2.5mm worn, whereas these new ones started with only 6.5mm.

The old Bridgestone tyres were only changed because of some deterioration after lasting six years on the car.

Goodyear EfficientGrip Performance

These tyres are okay. It is not really about how long they will last, but the road dangers like potholes, nails, screws, and other crap that is the real issue.

Considering all the potholes we have to avoid and the many speed bumps we have to deal with, I would say these tyres are doing an outstanding job.

They look similar to the budget tyres I have used previously. Perhaps they will last longer. My last cheap ones did 40,000 miles.

Nissan Primera Tyres: The Questions Drivers Ask Most

At Tyres.co.uk, options for the Michelin Primacy 5 and the Goodyear UltraGrip Performance 3 (205/60 R16 92H) are available for the 2004 2.2 dCi 138 Nissan Primera. The former is a summer option, while the latter is a winter option. Please note the original equipment size, load index, and speed rating of your vehicle before making a purchase.

The Nissan Primera tyre pressure placard is on the driver's side centre pillar, visible when the driver's door is open. Details of the approved tyre size, load rating and speed rating, and cold tyre inflation pressure are marked on the placard. Prior to and especially after a wheel change, check that the information on the placard and on the sidewall of the tyres and in the handbook are the same and intact.

Because of the front wheel drive nature of most Nissan Primera models in the UK, only two tyres need to be replaced at any given time. They should be replaced as a matching pair on the same axle and the new pair should always go to the rear axle for stability. The 4WD ATTESA Primeras should have all four tyres replaced in a matching set.
