Nissan Skyline Tyres
For many years the Nissan Skyline came as both saloons and coupés and introduced a succession of classic rear-wheel-drive cars and even performance-centric variations. Balanced performance control and everyday driving with grip and strong braking is what most Nissan Skyline tyre buyers look for. Considering these balances, durability, long range travel, low road noise and some comfort, touring tyres could be a great choice.
The variety of options in configurations and types of engines made in the Nissan Skyline leads to varying needs of specific types of tyres. The size, load index and speed rating of Nissan Skyline tyres must be checked against the tyres and the registration documents and the user manual of the vehicle. The specified requirements of the Nissan Skyline tyres allow for the safety of the braking system, as well as the control and comfort of the ride for the Nissan Skyline.
Tyres.co.uk provides Nissan Skyline owners the ability to search for and select tyres based on pricing, features, and brand. We also offer local fitting for the Nissan Skyline.

Wonderful, I always put Michelin on my Porsche as they are the best tyres for it, plus they have the Porsche 'N' rating.

Goodyear Eagle F1 (Asymmetric 5)
Tyre review for Goodyear Eagle F1 (Asymmetric 5) 225/50R17
I feel great. The wear seems to be even and they have plenty of tread remaining. I was a little worried about having a hybrid because the batteries make it a little heavier.

Tyre review for Michelin Primacy 4 225/50R17
Steering is more direct and has better grip, while stopping is also good.

Tyre review for Michelin Primacy 4 195/55R16
Better traction of these tyres gives them better stopping distance. Previous tyres, of the same brand, had more than 2mm of tread, yet their stopping distance was clearly worse.

Tyre review for Michelin Primacy 4 235/60R18
They perform well in all weather conditions, and they in particular excel in rainy weather.

Improved handling and a smoother ride means excellent grip on dry roads.

Tyre review for Yokohama Advan Neova AD08RS 225/40R18
While I would recommend them, I would advise caution in the wet as they can skid. On the dry however, they are fantastic.

Tyre review for Yokohama Advan Neova AD08RS 225/40R18
I do not think these tyres perform well and am surprised at them being marketed as suitable for track days. There was little grip and at Brands Hatch the tyres squealed on a dry surface. I went to Snetterton today where the conditions were wet to dry and I almost decided to call it a day because the tyres were not worth it. I think they are only fit to be summer road tyres. I am really disappointed by them.

In dry conditions, perform brilliantly. When wet, proceed with caution.

Nissan Skylines at Tyres.co.uk offer Michelin Pilot Sport 5 (97Y XL) and Bridgestone Potenza Sport (97Y) for R34 Skyline GT-R (V·spec and V·spec II) in 245/40ZR18. Due to variations in factory fitments for different Skylines, ensure that you have your registration number, placard, load index and speed rating before purchasing.
The specifications and recommended pressure for the Nissan Skyline tyres can be found on the Tyre Pressure Placard located on the driver's door in Japanese Skylines on the door located on the right side. The placard that has the original specifications information is typically found in Japanese skylines, though it may be missing in some cases. The size of the tyre fitted is also shown on the sidewall, however it may reflect aftermarket wheels.
Different Skyline models allow for replacement of different axle pairs. Sectional coverage is recommended on rear-wheel drive Skyline models. So if only two new tyres are installed, UK safety recommendation is to install the new tyres on the rear axle. All four new tyres must be of the same type for the four-wheel drive GT-R and Skyline models.
