The Rotalla RH01 is a summer high performance tyre meant to support the outer edge as it helps channel the water in the tread. To assist this, the RH01 has a front-to-back asymmetrical groove pattern designed for summer use. There are cross-cuts in the grooves to create additional water evacuation paths. The outer edge tread blocks are made stiff to support the tyre during abrupt steering changes and while cornering. The stiff sidewall and tread are complemented with a stiff inner casing. The design of the RH01 is meant for the daily wear and tear of driving on the road.
Some sizes have the RH01 in an XL special construction, which is shown by an XL on the sidewall of the tyre. This special construction is designed for higher-load vehicles, and is thus recommended to be placed where a vehicle specifies a higher-load tyre.
