The Kumho Ecowing ES31 uses low rolling resistance to develop an eco-friendly everyday passenger car tyre in the summer category. Adding a high-dispersion silica compound allows the tyre to improve grip on wet roads while also reducing rolling resistance. The tread design of the tyre uses 4 wide grooves in the direction of travel to channel water exit and evaporate contact with the ground. The outer blocks of the tread design are spaced to maintain support and structure during cornering and also provide a spacing design to reduce road noise.
