The Kumho Ecsta KH11 is a summer tyre designed for high speeds. It has a unique system for preventing aquaplaning. Its design lets it quickly remove water from the contact patch and includes a system of 4 lateral grooves, which connect to angled channels, and a system of water removal grooves that radiate out from the contact patch of the tyre. Kumho has added a silica compound to the tread to help with grip on wet roads and support the responsiveness of the Ecsta range.
The sidewall of the KH11 has a direction of rotation arrow that must be followed when fitting the tyre. The directional tread pattern is symmetrical in design and can be seen on both sides of the car. Some models are rated for 168 mph (W rating). Tyres.co.uk has the KH11 in stock, including the XL reinforced version.
