WP52+ Tyres description & features

The Kumho WP52+ is a winter tyre designed to clear water and slush and create biting edges for packed snow. It uses a winter rubber compound that stays flexible in cold weather. Its tread design includes deep longitudinal grooves with slanted channel cuts to remove slush and water. It has many biting edges created by fine 3D slits in the tread design and has snow grip and snowflake markings on the sidewall.

The tyre's tread blocks are designed to be stable while the tyre rotates. The Kumho WP52+ has XL reinforced construction options for higher loads. This tyre is designed for use in temperatures below 7 degrees Celsius. You can find the Kumho WP52+ tyre on Tyres.co.uk.

I have had great results with these winter tyres on wet and icy roads. I had no problems starting off and driving through 100mm of fresh snow. I have noticed they are a little noisy than my summer tyres, and I have also average a fuel efficiency drop of about 2 miles per gallon.

In general these tyres do well in different conditions. I have seen improvements in handling and stability when cornering at speed. The only downside is that there is a bit of road noise at higher speed but this doesn't impact my satisfaction. So far they have held up nice.
