The Kumho KL33 is an all-season tyre that has drainage in the form of four wide grooves that run around the tyre to channel water away from the centre of the tread. Small 3D sipes add the edge of the grip to the blocks to assist in the traction during the wet and light snow conditions. The uneven pitching of the blocks reduces the effect of the noise created during the contact of the tread with the road. The silica compound aids traction in the wet and decreases rolling resistance.
The KL33 also goes by the name of Crugen Premium KL33, as is evident from the name, it belongs to the Crugen SUV range of Kumho. The reinforced XL versions have the sidewall marking for the higher load, thus, are suitable for the vehicles that require them. Some versions also have the M+S marking that is associated with the mud-and-snow classification. At Tyres.co.uk, the Kumho KL33, and the XL versions, are available.
