The Kumho Ecowing ES31 uses low rolling resistance to develop an eco-friendly everyday passenger car tyre in the summer category. Adding a high-dispersion silica compound allows the tyre to improve grip on wet roads while also reducing rolling resistance. The tread design of the tyre uses 4 wide grooves in the direction of travel to channel water exit and evaporate contact with the ground. The outer blocks of the tread design are spaced to maintain support and structure during cornering and also provide a spacing design to reduce road noise.

The ES31 tyre model replaces the Kumho Ecowing ES01 KH27 tyre model, which uses the same summer tyre fuel-saving category. The tread design of the Kumho Ecowing ES31 promotes stable straight line driving with micro slits across the tread design to provide additional surface for traction during braking and reduction of road noise. The tyres look all right but there is some sort of bounce/vibration starting around 45 mph. It could potentially be the tyres, or it could be an issue with the fitting. The fact that the steering wheel isn't shaking makes it seem that the balancing is fine. I haven't looked into it yet.
