Alfa Romeo Brera Tyres

The Alfa Romeo Brera is a three-door sports coupé. Due to its nature, certain compromises have to be made when selecting the correct tyres for the Brera. The best Brera tyres can provide stability and steering response towards the comfort of road noise and ride comfort for long hauls. The tyres also need enough wet road grip and stopping power for everyday driving.

Depending on the model year, trim, and options, Brera tyres come in various sizes. Depending on which factory combination of wheels and tyres was chosen, ride comfort, and handling can be prioritised differently. Overall, the highest level of comfort and safety can be met by choosing the right size of tyre along with the load index and speed rating.

Most of the information can be found either on the current tyres, the owner’s manual, or the vehicle registration.

Tyres.co.uk is an online store that works directly with Brera owners. Using this site Brera owners can select, compare and buy tyres based on price. With the goal of preserving the unique characteristics and handling of this sports coupé, Brera owners can confirm the specification of tyres.

They grip and manoeuvre extremely well around corners even at higher speeds, and they hold traction during quick acceleration. The tread appears to be wearing down slowly, which is a positive.

Initially, the tyres were fitted during pleasant weather, and they impressed us with their grip and silence. They were much better than the cheap ones we had before. Now, with the cold snap, they are also handling brilliantly with ice, so we look forward to seeing how they will do when the snow comes.

Great traction on wet and dry surfaces and the tread holds up well. They could be slightly noisier than the Pirelli ones I had before, though the better performance compensates for that.

I have had excellent performance with these tyres in all kinds of weather. The grip is excellent and the ride quality of my E89 Z4 improved noticeably as soon as I changed from the original run flats.

The tyres are excellent. However, the price has increased quite a lot. A nail went through the tread within a week. I will still choose Tyres.co.uk in the future.

Buying and Fitting Alfa Romeo Brera Tyres: FAQ

If you purchase an Alfa Romeo Brera with 17-inch factory installed wheels, look for either the Michelin Primacy 5 or the Goodyear EfficientGrip Performance 2 in the size of 225/50 R17 98W XL on Tyres.co.uk. Please make sure to check the specifications of your vehicle and check the sidewalls of the tyres when you place your order, as many of the factory installed 18 and 19-inch wheels have differing approved specifications.

For information concerning the tyre sizes of the Alfa Romeo Brera, consult the label near the driver's side jamb. Here you will find the original tyre and wheel specifications as well as the corresponding tyre pressure. Make sure to check the tyre pressure label and the approved fitments.

The Alfa Romeo Brera does not require all four tyres to be replaced at the same time. Tyres may be replaced in pairs as long as original equipment manufacturer (OEM) tyres are used. It is also recommended that the Brera's Q4 four wheel drive system have the same brand and pattern of tyres to keep wear as even as possible. If only two tyres are replaced, install them to the rear axle.
