Tyre review for Pirelli Cinturato P7 Blue
225/50R17I will compare the non-runflat version of the original P7s run-flats, which I used for about five years. I have been using the non-runflat C2s for a couple of months. It seems Pirelli has managed to improve the previous P7 by only a little sacrificing handling, brakes, and dry and wet traction. These new tyres are a lot more quiet and comfortable. I used to get about 4-4.5 weeks of fuel with the P7s and now I get about 5 weeks or slightly more with the C2s, while the Conti EcoContacts give me 5-5.5 weeks (I drive very economically). The difference is quite interesting considering the C2s are rated C for fuel economy and the Continentals are rated A. It makes you question the labels, but considering fuel economy is just a portion of the performance I have to say I prefer the C2s. They have improved noise, comfort, and fuel economy. In conclusion, these tyres have no compromises.
