Land Rover Discovery 4 Tyres

The Land Rover Discovery 4 is a large, flexible, seven-seat SUV. The Discovery 4 is designed to be comfortable and reliable on long journeys, whether it be an informal family holiday or a more professional commute. Land Rover Discovery 4 tyres aid in this by enabling control over road and wet conditions, braking, and comfort. The Discovery 4 is spacious and refined, and the tyres can be selected to support that. Responsive treads can support stable steering on the diverse collection of UK roads.

The Land Rover Discovery 4 have a variety of trims, shapes and engine options for each model year and therefore will have differing factory options for wheel sizes. To select the Land Rover Discovery 4 tyres that are right for each car, it will need to have the proper size, load index, and speed rating. This is necessary to maintain the comfort, safety and the handling of the car. This can be found on the vehicles handbook, the registration, or the tyre.

Owners of a Land Rover Discovery 4 can review and compare tyres on the basis of brand, price, and performance prior to selection and booking convenient local tyre fitting on Tyres.co.uk.

Pirelli Scorpion Zero
Tyre review for Pirelli Scorpion Zero 255/50R20
5.00/5
I have just returned from a 10-day trip to Italy, covering over 2500 miles. The tyres on the front have done about 10,000 miles and were the same brand as the back tyres. While driving on the toll roads, and at the speed limit, I experienced no vibrations, pulling, or noise. Excellent performance.

Because they were still roadworthy, I was very surprised and pleased to see how worn out the old ones were.

3.00/5
As the fitter stated, the Avons began to crack at the bottom of the grooves at about 15,000 miles, despite having plenty of tread. I have now returned to Michelin Crossclimate 2, which I was unable to obtain previously.

I have no complaints about the tyres, they are meeting expectations. Seems like the same tyres as the Continentals I had before.

Fitted these to the SUV and they have been spot on. Quiet for such a big tyre and plenty of grip in the wet. No complaints at all.

Tyre review for Goodyear Eagle F1 (Asymmetric) SUV AT 255/55R20
5.00/5
The tyres are still doing great after 11,000 miles with 6-7mm tread left. They allow for better steering and are free from tramlining, have reduced road noise, and fuel consumption improved by around 5% in comparison to my previous set. I would not hesitate to choose these tyres again.

Great. My previous tyres constantly received punctures but since I have not had a single one, and they look great. I just got a new truck and I am looking forward to have these tyres on it again.

These tyres are amazing, and I feel confident driving in any weather conditions. I live in a cottage on a remote Scottish hillside and these tyres always get me home, snow, ice, mud and heavy rain are no problem for these tyres. I've had them for a year and they show no signs of wear.

Works well in the rain, however, can be unreliable in colder temperatures because the rubber will harden which lessens grip.

I have experienced no problems with these tyres in dry, wet, snowy, or muddy off-road scenarios. They're also surprisingly quieter than tyres from other brands I have used.

Land Rover Discovery 4 Tyre Questions Answered

Tyres.co.uk offers Continental PremiumContact 7 and Pirelli Scorpion Verde 255/55 R19 111V XL options for Land Rover Discovery 4 with 19-inch-wheel versions. Different factory fitments are available, so check the vehicle placard before ordering. Be sure to keep the required load and speed ratings.

The tyre size for the Land Rover Discovery 4 can be found on the tyre-pressure and loading placard which is located on the driver's side door opening. For UK right-hand-drive vehicles, it can be found on the right side B-pillar or door edge where it is visible when the driver's door is open; it contains the original tyre specifications as well as the cold pressure details.

Land Rover Discovery 4 models do not require all four tyres to be changed each time. Land Rover recommends all four to be changed, however, matching pairs on one axle is acceptable. Each Discovery 4 is equipped with full-time four-wheel drive, therefore, the same type of tyre, and if possible, the same make and tread pattern, should be used. A new pair should be fitted on the rear axle.
