Land Rover Discovery Tyres
The Land Rover Discovery combines large passenger capacity and adaptability. It is suitable for everything from the school run to motorway driving, as well as driving on a range of surface conditions. Tyres specifically designed for the Land Rover Discovery should include features for effective wet weather grip, braking, and control, as well as comfort on rides, and should also be designed to reduce road noise and improve rolling resistance.
The Land Rover Discovery’s factory fit options determine the correct tyre for each Discovery based on the generation, model year, trim and engine. A vehicle’s handbook, registration documents, and its current tyres can all be used to determine the correct tyre’s load index and speed rating. The correct tyre specification offers support for the required load capacity, vehicle handling, comfort and safety, while wheel options can influence the trade-off between comfort on rides and steering responsiveness.
Tyres.co.uk allows drivers of the Land Rover Discovery to assess a range of options based on brand, price and performance, and select an option for which they can book a local tyre fitting.

Tyre review for BFGoodrich All-Terrain T/A KO2 255/70R16
Great. My previous tyres constantly received punctures but since I have not had a single one, and they look great. I just got a new truck and I am looking forward to have these tyres on it again.

Tyre review for BFGoodrich All-Terrain T/A KO2 255/70R16
These tyres are amazing, and I feel confident driving in any weather conditions. I live in a cottage on a remote Scottish hillside and these tyres always get me home, snow, ice, mud and heavy rain are no problem for these tyres. I've had them for a year and they show no signs of wear.

Tyre review for BFGoodrich All-Terrain T/A KO2 235/70R16
Works well in the rain, however, can be unreliable in colder temperatures because the rubber will harden which lessens grip.

Tyre review for BFGoodrich All-Terrain T/A KO2 235/70R16
I have experienced no problems with these tyres in dry, wet, snowy, or muddy off-road scenarios. They're also surprisingly quieter than tyres from other brands I have used.

Pirelli Scorpion Zero
Tyre review for Pirelli Scorpion Zero 255/50R20
I have just returned from a 10-day trip to Italy, covering over 2500 miles. The tyres on the front have done about 10,000 miles and were the same brand as the back tyres. While driving on the toll roads, and at the speed limit, I experienced no vibrations, pulling, or noise. Excellent performance.

Tyre review for Pirelli Scorpion Zero 255/55R19
Because they were still roadworthy, I was very surprised and pleased to see how worn out the old ones were.

Avon ZX7
Tyre review for Avon ZX7 245/45R19
As the fitter stated, the Avons began to crack at the bottom of the grooves at about 15,000 miles, despite having plenty of tread. I have now returned to Michelin Crossclimate 2, which I was unable to obtain previously.

I have no complaints about the tyres, they are meeting expectations. Seems like the same tyres as the Continentals I had before.

Tyre review for Pirelli Scorpion Verde All Season 235/60R18
Great to hear! I was instructed not to switch the rear tyres to the front on the Volvo, and the noise and vibration issues have really improved. I certainly won't be doing that again with this vehicle.

Tyres.co.uk lists the Michelin Pilot Sport 4 SUV (110Y XL) and Pirelli Scorpion Zero All Season (110W XL) in 255/55 R20 for the Land Rover Discovery 3.0 Si6 340. Before ordering, please check the registration, load index, speed rating and XL specification.
When opening the driver’s side door you will find the driver’s side B-pillar where the tyre pressure sticker is situated. This sticker will display the recommended specification of the wheels and tyres for that specific model and load and pressure rating of original equipment manufacturer (OEM) wheels.
Even though it is not necessary, it would be best to change all four tyres on your Land Rover Discovery. Since all variants of the Land Rover Discovery are four wheel drive, the same type of tyre should be replaced and should, if possible, be of the same make and have the same tread pattern. If only two tyres are replaced, the rear tyres should be replaced, and the old rear tyres should be placed at the front to complete a matched pair on the same axle.
