Seat Altea Tyres
The Seat Altea is a modern, practical choice for everyday transport for individuals. The Seat Altea XL gives even more space for your family and luggage. All versions of the Seat Altea need to be able to cope with different conditions of the variable British climate. A key priority for the Altea is wet grip and, along with that, braking control to aid comfortable driving. Comfort, low noise and high efficiency are also suitable for city use and extended trips on the motorway.
The Altea and the Altea XL have different generations, and even different years, trims, engines and factory option wheels all affect the different approved fitment sizes available for a given model. Confirming the best fit for your Seat Altea will ensure comfort and safety are maintained.
Tyres.co.uk offers information for all versions of the Seat Altea to help identify and choose approved fitment tyres. Once a selection is made, it can even assist with booking a local fitting at a partner garage to make the process as convenient as possible.

They appear fine so far, although I still have to drive a long distance with them.

Tyre review for Kumho Ecowing ES31 175/60R15
I replaced the two rear tyres after doing the front ones and one tyre from the front and back needs to be inflated every 6 to 8 weeks.

Tyre review for Kumho Ecowing ES31 165/65R15
So far, they've been great and quieter than I thought they would be.

Tyre review for Kumho Ecowing ES31 215/60R16
The front tyres will most likely need to be replaced soon, while the rears are about halfway worn. Traction in wet conditions is good and the wear seems to be what would be expected.

Goodyear EfficientGrip Performance
Tyre review for Goodyear EfficientGrip Performance 195/60R15
These tyres are okay. It is not really about how long they will last, but the road dangers like potholes, nails, screws, and other crap that is the real issue.

Considering all the potholes we have to avoid and the many speed bumps we have to deal with, I would say these tyres are doing an outstanding job.

Tyre review for Goodyear EfficientGrip Performance 215/45R17
They look similar to the budget tyres I have used previously. Perhaps they will last longer. My last cheap ones did 40,000 miles.

Fits the rim well, and is mid-range quality and pricing.

Tyre review for Avon ZV7 225/50R17
The existing tyres are doing an adequate job but my expectations for how long the front tyres would last were higher. Most of my driving is local, and there are a lot of roundabouts in this area.

They are beautiful tyres, and they help me to be confident and calm when driving. If only the roads were built to the same standard!

Tyre review for Avon ZV7 215/45R17
Avon ZV7 tyres provide excellent performance on the wet country roads and the rainy weather where I drive. They help with fuel economy and last a long time before needing to be changed. I feel confident driving on them and plan to put them on the back of my car soon. They are great value for a mid-range tyre.

On Tyres.co.uk, the Seat Altea tyre options include Michelin Primacy 5 and Continental PremiumContact 7 in 205/55 R16 91V for the 2010 Altea 1.6 102 with 16-inch rims. Before buying, confirm the load index, speed rating, and any XL specifications on the tyre-information label and registration.
Each fitted tyre has the tyre size for the Seat Altea imprinted on its sidewall. The factory tyre-information label is located inside the fuel filler flap on the rear right-hand side of the vehicle. Use this along with the vehicle handbook to verify the approved specification.
It is not always the case that four new tyres are needed for Seat Altea, however, all tyres must be matched in type, size, rolling circumference and tread pattern. Altea XL and Altea Freetrack four wheel drives require matching rolling circumferences on all four tyres. When replacing a pair, the new matched tyres should be fitted to the rear axle.
