Suzuki Alto Tyres

The Suzuki Alto is a useful city car and short-distance vehicle. Comfortable, yet grippy and quiet, rain-focused tyres with a bit of stability would likely be appreciated. As the roads of the UK constantly change, this stability would be even more appreciated.

Every type of aspect of the Suzuki Alto is unique when looking at each generation, model year, trim, engine, and factory wheel choice. Finding the right fitment is easy when you either look at the current tyres' sidewall, the vehicle's handbook, or the vehicle registration. Having the correct tyre size and load index, as well as the correct speed rating, will enhance the handling comfort and safety of the Suzuki Alto.

Drivers of the Suzuki Alto can pick their perfect set of tyres from Tyres.co.uk, then get their chosen tyres locally fitted.

I replaced the two rear tyres after doing the front ones and one tyre from the front and back needs to be inflated every 6 to 8 weeks.

So far, they've been great and quieter than I thought they would be.

The front tyres will most likely need to be replaced soon, while the rears are about halfway worn. Traction in wet conditions is good and the wear seems to be what would be expected.

These tyres grip well in wet and dry conditions due to using quite a soft rubber mix. They are significantly quieter than my last set. Although they do tend to wear out a little quicker because of the soft compound, I think the lifespan is still reasonable considering the price. I would say they are worth the money.

Buying Suzuki Alto Tyres: FAQ

Between 2009 and 2015, Alto models specify Goodyear EfficientGrip Compact 2 and Uniroyal RainExpert 5, both in size 155/65 R14 75T, listed at Tyres.co.uk. Both exceed the original 75S rating. Verify the vehicle placard for size, load and speed rating prior to purchase.

The tyre-related placard for Suzuki Alto is located in the lock pillar of the driver's door (when the door is opened). This is located on the pillar adjacent to the door latch or striker. It displays the approved sizes and required cold inflation pressure of the tyres.

For the UK models of Suzuki Alto, there is no obligation to change all four tyres simultaneously, as they are front-wheel drive and do not have an all-wheel-drive drivetrain. It can be advised to replace the tyres as an axle pair, when possible. Also, as part of the tyre safety advice in the UK, if two tyres are replaced, they should be placed on the rear axle.
