Between 2009 and 2015, Alto models specify Goodyear EfficientGrip Compact 2 and Uniroyal RainExpert 5, both in size 155/65 R14 75T, listed at Tyres.co.uk. Both exceed the original 75S rating. Verify the vehicle placard for size, load and speed rating prior to purchase.
The tyre-related placard for Suzuki Alto is located in the lock pillar of the driver's door (when the door is opened). This is located on the pillar adjacent to the door latch or striker. It displays the approved sizes and required cold inflation pressure of the tyres.
For the UK models of Suzuki Alto, there is no obligation to change all four tyres simultaneously, as they are front-wheel drive and do not have an all-wheel-drive drivetrain. It can be advised to replace the tyres as an axle pair, when possible. Also, as part of the tyre safety advice in the UK, if two tyres are replaced, they should be placed on the rear axle.
