5/5Goodyear Vector 4 Season G2Great at dealing with aquaplaning. Unfortunately, I haven't been able to try them in the snow. They are better than the Cross Climates in intense rain. Unfortunately, Cross Climate 2's aren't offered for smaller cars, so the Vector 4 All Season ends up being the best pick in this category, and I have tested a lot of tyres.

5/5Michelin CrossClimate+I am very pleased with the Michelin Crossclimates. My Suzuki Celerio has had these tyres for five years (this is my second set). They are excellent at gripping the road and dealing with lots of water, although they can struggle a little with very deep puddles. It has been a while since I have driven in the snow with them, but my experience was excellent. Michelin states that these tyres still perform well down to the legal limit, but I definitely felt less grip in the summer when the back tyres were below 3mm (the usual time to replace them). I've just had the back ones changed to it just in time for winter.
5/5Continental All Season ContactThe tyres excel with outstanding grip across all weather conditions and the noise is not intrusive. Even considering our local roads that aren't the smoothest, the comfort of the ride remained and the fuel efficiency has not declined. They are fitted to a light budget car, a Suzuki Celerio, so I may not experience the full range of their capabilities compared to a better performing car. Very happy and I would without a doubt purchase them again.

5/5Kumho Ecowing ES31The front tyres will most likely need to be replaced soon, while the rears are about halfway worn. Traction in wet conditions is good and the wear seems to be what would be expected.
5/5Kumho Ecowing ES31I bought Kumho Ecowing ES31s after one of my front tyres surrendered after I hit a huge pothole on a bad road in the New Forest. The old tyre did 15,000 miles and was already a replacement. The other front tyre was changed as well as it was getting slashed by sharp stones and flint on the gravel road I drive on daily to get to the main road. These tyres are brilliant value for money, offering great grip on both dry and wet roads. They don't seem to wear out quickly as the rubber looks long-lasting and the tread is still almost new after 4,000 miles. They are quiet for a tyre on the motorway and I have driven a bit more carefully and there was an improvement noticed with fuel economy, about 10-12 miles more per tank. Now I get around 485 miles for a fuel consumption of 40 litres of diesel, …
