Vauxhall Vectra Tyres

The Vauxhall Vectra is a family car that has been made available in multiple forms across the generations, such as saloon, hatchback and estate. This means that the Vauxhall Vectra tyres also need to be suitable for daily commuting, school runs, and any long distance travel on the motorway. The Vauxhall Vectra is designed to cater to the needs of UK motorists, and as such, a set of tyres with good wet weather grip and braking will be needed for the daily driving role the car performs. Also, the tyres can be touring-oriented which will offer a better ride and low road noise. The various generations, trim variants, petrol or diesel, and factory wheel options mean that Vauxhall Vectra tyre specifications will differ. The appropriate Vauxhall Vectra tyres also need to fit the vehicle's recommended size, load index, and speed rating to keep comfort, safety, and handling at optimal levels. There is no one size fits all for Vauxhall Vectra's, so details from the tyre sidewall, vehicle handbook, or registration number will be needed to find the correct fitment. Drivers of Vauxhall Vectra can use Tyres.co.uk to compare prices for different brands and performance specifications of tyres, and then book for fitting at a nearby partner garage. Choosing the right specifications for the tyres is essential to cater for a mix of town, A-road, and motorway driving.

Fits the rim well, and is mid-range quality and pricing.

The existing tyres are doing an adequate job but my expectations for how long the front tyres would last were higher. Most of my driving is local, and there are a lot of roundabouts in this area.

They are beautiful tyres, and they help me to be confident and calm when driving. If only the roads were built to the same standard!

Avon ZV7 tyres provide excellent performance on the wet country roads and the rainy weather where I drive. They help with fuel economy and last a long time before needing to be changed. I feel confident driving on them and plan to put them on the back of my car soon. They are great value for a mid-range tyre.

These tyres are okay. It is not really about how long they will last, but the road dangers like potholes, nails, screws, and other crap that is the real issue.

Considering all the potholes we have to avoid and the many speed bumps we have to deal with, I would say these tyres are doing an outstanding job.

They look similar to the budget tyres I have used previously. Perhaps they will last longer. My last cheap ones did 40,000 miles.

Steering is more direct and has better grip, while stopping is also good.

Better traction of these tyres gives them better stopping distance. Previous tyres, of the same brand, had more than 2mm of tread, yet their stopping distance was clearly worse.

Vauxhall Vectra Tyres: Help and Advice

In relation to the Vauxhall Vectra tyre options at Tyres.co.uk, there is the Michelin Primacy 4+ and Goodyear EfficientGrip Performance 2 205/55 R16 91V available for the 2007 Vectra C 1.8 with the standard 16-inch fitment. Please check the registration, tank-flap label and current tyres prior to ordering.

Tyre information for Vauxhall Vectras can be found on the adhesive placard located on the inside of the fuel-filler flap on the vehicle's right rear. The placard contains information on approved tyres and their corresponding pressure ratings. For confirmation on your version, check the tyre sidewall and use the registration.

Typically, Vauxhall Vectra vehicles do not need all four tyres changed: do so as an axle pair, with the same size, design, manufacturer, and tread pattern on that axle. The 1995-2008 Vectra series is front-wheel drive, so no model has a matching requirement for four-wheel drive; a new pair should be fitted to the rear axle in line with UK safety guidance.
