My research showed that before purchasing, the Mini Cooper S R56 was said to handle superbly with these tyres, allegedly the original ones fitted to the Mini. This turned out to be the case, and we are very happy.

Better traction of these tyres gives them better stopping distance. Previous tyres, of the same brand, had more than 2mm of tread, yet their stopping distance was clearly worse.

Hankook Ventus Prime 3 (K125)
Tyre review for Hankook Ventus Prime 3 (K125) 225/50R17

I bought these to replace my old ones from the same brand. The old set had good grip and lasted a long time. I changed them out before hitting the minimum legal tread depth because the car was getting a little unstable. I think this is more due to the chassis of the car being more sensitive than the actual tyres because the ride is stable again with the new set.

I completely agree with you. From the moment I got onto the road, it was noticeably more quiet and the grip was excellent. I was especially impressed with the usual wet conditions on the M8 where your brakes and tyres are pushed to the limit!

FAQs About Vauxhall Insignia Grand Sport Tyres

Vauxhall Insignia Grand Sport tyre options at Tyres.co.uk include the Goodyear EfficientGrip Performance 2 and Bridgestone Turanza 6 in 225/55 R17 101W XL for 2017 Grand Sport Design and SRi models. Confirm the exact factory size, load index, speed rating and any XL requirement against the registration and tyre-information label before ordering.

You can find the tyre information for the Vauxhall Insignia Grand Sport on the tyre pressure sticker on the driver's door frame. You can open the driver's door and see the frame to find the tyre sizes and pressures for the original-equipment tyres. The tyre sidewall and the vehicle handbook can also help confirm this information.

Vauxhall Insignia Grand Sport's front-wheel-drive variants do not automatically need four new tyres; you can just replace two and fit the new pair to the rear axle. All-wheel-drive variants should not have tyres with different levels of wear, so to keep the system performing optimally, you may need to match all four.
