Subaru Impreza Tyres

The Subaru Impreza is a compact car that offers both hatchback and saloon options in each of its generations. Tyre selection is important for urban driving, motorway journeys and varying road conditions. Subaru Impreza tyres need to have good wet grip and braking, and a comfortable and quiet tread pattern optimised for everyday driving.

The Subaru Impreza's generations, model years, trims and engines have different factory wheel options which change their tyre needs. Some versions of the Subaru Impreza are designed for better responsiveness and handling, while other versions are designed for comfort and practicality. This is why it is important to have the proper specification to support the intended driving character. The approved tyre sizes, load index and speed ratings for your Subaru Impreza can be found by checking the tyre sidewall and the vehicle handbook, or by looking up the vehicle using its registration number.

Tyres.co.uk enables Subaru Impreza drivers to compare tyres based on the brand, price, and performance prior to selecting tyres that fit their needs. The booking service allows easy and local tyre fitting by a nearby professional.

Wonderful, I always put Michelin on my Porsche as they are the best tyres for it, plus they have the Porsche 'N' rating.

Goodyear Eagle F1 (Asymmetric 5)
Tyre review for Goodyear Eagle F1 (Asymmetric 5) 225/50R17
5.00/5
I feel great. The wear seems to be even and they have plenty of tread remaining. I was a little worried about having a hybrid because the batteries make it a little heavier.

Kumho Ecsta PS71
Tyre review for Kumho Ecsta PS71 255/40R17
5.00/5
Initially, the tyres were fitted during pleasant weather, and they impressed us with their grip and silence. They were much better than the cheap ones we had before. Now, with the cold snap, they are also handling brilliantly with ice, so we look forward to seeing how they will do when the snow comes.

Tyre review for Kumho Ecsta PS71 225/35R20

Great traction on wet and dry surfaces and the tread holds up well. They could be slightly noisier than the Pirelli ones I had before, though the better performance compensates for that.

Avon ZV7

Fits the rim well, and is mid-range quality and pricing.

Tyre review for Avon ZV7 225/50R17

The existing tyres are doing an adequate job but my expectations for how long the front tyres would last were higher. Most of my driving is local, and there are a lot of roundabouts in this area.

They are beautiful tyres, and they help me to be confident and calm when driving. If only the roads were built to the same standard!

Avon ZV7 tyres provide excellent performance on the wet country roads and the rainy weather where I drive. They help with fuel economy and last a long time before needing to be changed. I feel confident driving on them and plan to put them on the back of my car soon. They are great value for a mid-range tyre.

Subaru Impreza Tyres: Help and Advice

The 2018 2.0i SE models available at Tyres.co.uk offer a choice between the Michelin Primacy 5 and the Goodyear EfficientGrip Performance 2 in the size 205/50 R17 89V. Before purchasing, please confirm the vehicle’s placard and registration for the complete tyre size information, as Imprezas differ according to model and year.

The driver's side door pillar tyre placard has Impreza’s tyre information. The placard shows tyre size, load index, speed rating and recommended minimum tyre inflation pressure. For more information, check the owner’s manual and current tyres.

To avoid any compromise to the drivetrain, all four tyres on Subaru Imprezas must be manufactured by the same company, of the same construction, same tread pattern, same level of wear and same size. For safety and the integrity of the vehicle, Subaru recommends replacing all four tyres. Fit any new pair to the rear axle, as advised by UK tyre safety guidance.
