Honda HR-V Tyres
The urban-friendly and family-friendly compact SUV from Honda also accommodates longer journeys. The Honda HR-V has been designed for sophisticated ease on the UK’s urban and rural roads. Honda HR-V tyres should provide comfort and low noise on the road and ease of control on the wet with high grip and low rolling resistance.
Specific Honda HR-V tyres depend on the generation, model year, trim, engine and factory wheel options, so there is no single fitment across the range. The appropriate tyre size, load index and speed rating for the HR-V can be found on the existing tyre sidewall or in the vehicle handbook. The correct specification ensures safety in handling and brakes, and in riding comfort.
At Tyres.co.uk, the Honda HR-V driver can conveniently view and compare suitable tyres, and, buy and book a fitting, on the basis of brand, price and performance.

Tyre review for Michelin Primacy 4 225/50R17
Steering is more direct and has better grip, while stopping is also good.
Bonnie-Rose Eathan
Tyre review for Michelin Primacy 4 195/55R16
Better traction of these tyres gives them better stopping distance. Previous tyres, of the same brand, had more than 2mm of tread, yet their stopping distance was clearly worse.

They perform well in all weather conditions, and they in particular excel in rainy weather.

Bridgestone Turanza T001
Tyre review for Bridgestone Turanza T001 225/40R18
No significant difference from the prior set of tyres. Changed them when they were about 2.5mm worn, whereas these new ones started with only 6.5mm.

The Michelin Primacy 5 and Goodyear EfficientGrip Performance 2, sold at Tyres.co.uk, for Honda HR-Vs come in 215/55 R17 94W. These fit 2015-2021 HR-Vs with standard 17-inch wheels. 94W is an above-factory speed rating. Be sure to check your placard and registration. 16-inch wheels could have a different [factory] fitment.
The tyre size for the Honda HR-V can be found on the driver's door jamb tyre and loading placard. This is the side of the door that is opened (right front door for UK RHD) and has the tyre specs and approved pressures. However, if the wheels have been changed, check against the registration.
Not all HR-V models require four new tyres in a front-wheel-drive system; tyres can be replaced as a matching axle pair (if applicable) to specifications. HR-V models in a four-wheel-drive system require all four tyres to be the same in size, type, brand and construction. In accordance with UK tyre safety guidance, when two new tyres are purchased, they should be installed on the rear axle.
