Honda FR-V Tyres
The Honda FR-V is a compact MPV that can seat six and has a unique three-across seating that is designed for family trips and daily tasks. When selecting tyres for the Honda FR-V, consideration must be given to the requirements for wet braking and grip, and the likely load the vehicle will carry. Since the FR-V will likely make many short trips, consideration can also be given to comfort, low noise, and a long distance tread pattern. A selection of tyres can easily fulfil the requirements for short trips on the urban and motorway systems.
The Honda FR-V has a wide variety of tyre sizes due to different generations, years, models, trims, engines, and wheel options. Selecting the correct Honda FR-V tyres means that the approved size, load index, and speed rating must be adhered to for that specific vehicle to ensure good handling and comfort. The correct tyre sizing can be found on the current tyre sidewall, in the vehicle's handbook, or from the vehicle's registration details as there is not a universal size for all Honda FR-V's.
Honda FR-V owners can find the right tyres to suit their driving needs and then conveniently book to have these fitted online, local to them through Tyres.co.uk.

Tyre review for Kumho Ecowing ES31 175/60R15
I replaced the two rear tyres after doing the front ones and one tyre from the front and back needs to be inflated every 6 to 8 weeks.

Tyre review for Kumho Ecowing ES31 165/65R15
So far, they've been great and quieter than I thought they would be.

Tyre review for Kumho Ecowing ES31 215/60R16
The front tyres will most likely need to be replaced soon, while the rears are about halfway worn. Traction in wet conditions is good and the wear seems to be what would be expected.

Goodyear EfficientGrip Performance
Tyre review for Goodyear EfficientGrip Performance 195/60R15
These tyres are okay. It is not really about how long they will last, but the road dangers like potholes, nails, screws, and other crap that is the real issue.

Considering all the potholes we have to avoid and the many speed bumps we have to deal with, I would say these tyres are doing an outstanding job.

Tyre review for Goodyear EfficientGrip Performance 215/45R17
They look similar to the budget tyres I have used previously. Perhaps they will last longer. My last cheap ones did 40,000 miles.

Tyre review for Michelin Primacy 4 225/50R17
Steering is more direct and has better grip, while stopping is also good.

Tyre review for Michelin Primacy 4 195/55R16
Better traction of these tyres gives them better stopping distance. Previous tyres, of the same brand, had more than 2mm of tread, yet their stopping distance was clearly worse.

They perform well in all weather conditions, and they in particular excel in rainy weather.

For models of FR-V with 16-inch factory wheels, you have the option to purchase either Michelin Primacy 5 or Goodyear EfficientGrip Performance 2 in 205/55 R16 91V at Tyres.co.uk. Please make sure to check the tyre-information sticker before purchasing, since different factoy wheel options will use different sizes.
To check the tyre size and cold pressure for Honda FR-V, you need to open the driver's side door. You will then see the placard on the driver's doorjamb. The placard has both the front and rear tyre specs for individual FR-Vs. So, make sure you reference both front and rear tyre specs and match the load and speed ratings.
Since all variants of Honda FR-V have front-wheel-drive, drivetrain does not warrant four matching tyres. If only one axle needs a new tyre, replace a matching pair. It is recommended to replace all four tyres if the tread has worn down. If one axle is replaced, the new pair should be fitted at the rear axle according to recommended practice for tyre safety in the UK.
