For the BMW i8, Tyres.co.uk recommends Pirelli P Zero (PZ4) in 215/45 R20 95W XL for front tyres and Pirelli P Zero (PZ4) or Michelin Pilot Sport 5 in 245/40 R20 99Y XL for rear tyres in the case of the larger, staggered 20-inch set up. Please check your vehicle registration. There were some narrower factory wheel packages available.
The BMW i8's correct tyre sizes can be found on the driver's side door placard. This displays the sizes and pressures for both the front and rear tyres. Make sure to look at the sidewall of the tyres and correlate that to your vehicle registration.
The BMW i8 has a unique four-wheel drive system that has an electric motor on the front axle and a petrol engine on the rear axle. Keep all four tyres the same and replace in matched pairs. The front and rear sizes are different, so tyres may not be moved from one axle to the other.
