Porsche Boxster Tyres
The Porsche Boxster is a two-seater roadster. Because of its design, the choice of tyres should cater to its steering, balance, handling and touring. Daily driving would require tyres with wet grip and braking for the Boxster, but quiet and comfortable tyres with good road efficiency would cater to longer trips. When it comes to performance, the brakes, suspension and steering would benefit, whereas for touring, tyres would focus on being quiet and comfortable.
Tyre sizes for the Porsche Boxster are not the same for every model or generation. Factors like model year, factory option, trim and engine choice must be considered. Porsche Boxster tyres must comply with the manufacturer approved size, load index and speed rating. Vehicle registration, user manual and the current tyres’ sidewall would provide this information.
At Tyres.co.uk, Boxster owners can get the fitting that is most suited to them with the ability to compare the cost, performance and brands of tyres for their Boxster.

I have had excellent performance with these tyres in all kinds of weather. The grip is excellent and the ride quality of my E89 Z4 improved noticeably as soon as I changed from the original run flats.

Tyre review for Michelin Pilot Sport 4 S 245/35R19
The tyres are excellent. However, the price has increased quite a lot. A nail went through the tread within a week. I will still choose Tyres.co.uk in the future.

You can find Michelin Pilot Sport 4 S and Pirelli P Zeros on Tyres.co.uk for 2013 Boxster S 19-inch wheels factory fitment 235/40 ZR19 front / 265/40 ZR19 rear. Please verify registration, placard, load index, and speed rating since fitment varies by model.
To find more information about recommended tyre pressure, you can find it on the placard located on the left door aperture. This will tell you approved sizes and corresponding pressure for front and rear tyres. You must then cross-check this with the placard on the tyre sidewall and the tyre pressure book, as the specifications may not be the same for all generations of Boxster models and the fitted wheels.
Unless required, Porsche Boxster models rarely need all four tyres replaced. Due to the Boxster being rear wheel drive, there is no requirement to fit all four tyres to comply with a matched drivetrain. You can only replace a matched axle with the same make and type. As recommended by the UK safety standards, when two new tyres are fitted, the new tyres are fitted to the rear axle.
