Porsche 944 Tyres
The Porsche 944 is a rear-wheel-drive coupé designed with front-engine placement. It is also available in Cabriolet. The 944 features an innovative braking and steering system because of its unique tyre system. The 944 is designed for long-distance trips on the motorway and for use in any condition (rain included) on the road.
There are different tyres for different 944 models. Tyres for the Porsche 944 can also be customised regarding the level of performance desired. The most comfortable and fuel efficient tyres for a Porsche 944 can also be selected. The size, load index and speed rating of the tyres must match what is on the vehicles. This information can be found on the vehicles registration details, the hand book or on the side wall of the tyres.
Tyres.co.uk offers the 944 owner matching tyres by performance preferences, price and brand. Tyres.co.uk offers local tyre fittings for the 944 after the owner has chosen the tyres.

Fits the rim well, and is mid-range quality and pricing.

Tyre review for Avon ZV7 225/50R17
The existing tyres are doing an adequate job but my expectations for how long the front tyres would last were higher. Most of my driving is local, and there are a lot of roundabouts in this area.

Tyre review for Avon ZV7 225/45R17
They are beautiful tyres, and they help me to be confident and calm when driving. If only the roads were built to the same standard!

Tyre review for Avon ZV7 215/45R17
Avon ZV7 tyres provide excellent performance on the wet country roads and the rainy weather where I drive. They help with fuel economy and last a long time before needing to be changed. I feel confident driving on them and plan to put them on the back of my car soon. They are great value for a mid-range tyre.

Hankook Ventus Prime 3 (K125)
Tyre review for Hankook Ventus Prime 3 (K125) 225/50R17
I bought these to replace my old ones from the same brand. The old set had good grip and lasted a long time. I changed them out before hitting the minimum legal tread depth because the car was getting a little unstable. I think this is more due to the chassis of the car being more sensitive than the actual tyres because the ride is stable again with the new set.

Tyre review for Hankook Ventus Prime 3 (K125) 225/50R17
I completely agree with you. From the moment I got onto the road, it was noticeably more quiet and the grip was excellent. I was especially impressed with the usual wet conditions on the M8 where your brakes and tyres are pushed to the limit!

Porsche 944 tyre options at Tyres.co.uk include the Michelin Pilot Sport 4 and Continental PremiumContact 7 in 205/55 R16 for 1982-86 cars with Porsche's 16-inch wheel option. Confirm the registration's required load and speed ratings, as Porsche 944 S, S2 and Turbo versions can have different front and rear fitments.
The tyre size for Porsche 944 can be found on the sidewall of the tyres as well as on the tyre-pressure sticker found on the door frame of the left door. To find the sticker, open the left door and look at the door frame to find the sticker that provides the recommended tyre sizes and air pressures for the front and rear tyres. If the sticker is not there, consult the manual. Note that it is also possible that the wheel size has also been changed.
It is not necessary to replace all four tyres on a Porsche 944 at the same time. Since all production models of the Porsche 944 are rear-wheel drive, no drivetrain version requires matching tyres across all four wheels; tyres can be replaced by axle pairs as long as they match specifications on that axle. Whenever there are two new tyres, those should be placed on the rear axle.
