Porsche Boxster 718 Tyres

The Porsche Boxster 718 is a two-seat roadster with a mid-engine layout. Its tyre technology is paramount for Porsche Boxster 718’s exacting steering and braking, as well as grip in inclement weather. Porsche Boxster 718 tyres should be matched with its chassis for normal road driving and touring. There are a multitude of options available for tyres, with varying influence on handling, comfort, road noise, and efficiency.

Porsche Boxster 718 tyres vary by generation, trim, and factory options, and therefore do not have a universal applicable fitment. Proper Porsche Boxster 718 tyre fitment is determined by matching size, load index, and speed rating for the specific vehicle. Proper fitment can be determined by either the existing tyre sidewall, vehicle manual, or vehicle registration and will provide the best handling, comfort, and safety.

Tyres.co.uk offers makers of the Porsche Boxster 718 the chance to view, compare and select tyres based on brand, price, and performance, and allows booking for local tyre fitting.

The tyres are excellent. However, the price has increased quite a lot. A nail went through the tread within a week. I will still choose Tyres.co.uk in the future.

Porsche Boxster 718 Tyres: Common Questions

Tyres.co.uk provides two options for the Porsche Boxster 718: Pirelli P Zero (PZ4) and Hankook Ventus S1 evo 3. These are suitable for 2017 Boxster and Boxster S models with 19-inch factory wheels and fit 235/40 ZR19 (92Y) in the front and 265/40 ZR19 (98Y) in the rear. Make sure you check the load index, speed rating, and your door jamb before buying.

To locate the size of tyres for Porsche Boxster 718, look for the tyre pressure and wheel placard on the driver side door frame of the B-pillar (when the door is open). In this placard, you will find the front and rear fitment recommended for the chosen wheel that is relevant as Boxster 718 uses staggered tyres.

For the Porsche Boxster 718 models, all 4 tyres do not need to be replaced. There is no 4-wheel-drive system that would necessitate all 4 tyres to match. All models are rear-wheel drive. Tyres should be replaced in pairs on the same axle, and the recommended staggered fitment should remain. When replacing two tyres, it is considered safer in the UK to fit the new tyres to the rear axle.
