Ferrari 458 Tyres

The Ferrari 458 is a mid-engine V8 sports car that comes as a coupé or an open-top. The Ferrari 458 tyre should enhance performance especially during wet driving conditions. Performance tyres should also allow for more spirited driving when needed. Tyres.co.uk also suggests a Ferrari 458 should have different tyres when driving spiritedly rather than when driving normally.

Tyres for the Ferrari 458 span a large range from model to model. All the variations such as the Italia, the Spider, and the Speciale may need different tyre sizes also. Ferrari 458 tyres must also be the correct size, load index, and speed rating to maintain the safety of the vehicle. The vehicle's handbook or registration should help determine the correct size Porsche tyre.

Tyres.co.uk also allows Ferrari 458 owners to sort tyres based on brand, price, and performance to arrange a local fitting for the selected tyre.

I have had excellent performance with these tyres in all kinds of weather. The grip is excellent and the ride quality of my E89 Z4 improved noticeably as soon as I changed from the original run flats.

The tyres are excellent. However, the price has increased quite a lot. A nail went through the tread within a week. I will still choose Tyres.co.uk in the future.

I read some great reviews and decided to buy some Michelin Pilot Sport Cup2 tyres for my road-legal track car, a Mazda RX8. These tyres offer great dry road handling and responsiveness just like other ultra-high-performance tyres that I have experienced. I won't be testing these tyres on wet roads and I suspect that they may not perform will on wet roads based on my assumption of their tread design. On the track these tyres excel. I specifically compared these tyres Cup2s with the Goodyear Eagle F1 Supersports and noted a small but confident improvement in stability and grip. I would track recommend track use.

My main use for these tyres is sprints and track days. When it comes to dry weather conditions, they are absolutely superb, however, when it comes to wet or damp conditions, I fear the risk too much when I am pushing my Porsche Cayman S to the limit. On average roads, they are decent but I am considering going for something a bit more durable next time, maybe a Pirelli Trofeo.

Great in a bit of rain, rubbish when it's pouring - but truly amazing on warm dry days.

These are run flat tyres, and I chose to stay with the same brand as came with the car. They're not the quietest and could roll better, but your prices were competitive and the garage down the road did a good job fitting them.

The Pirellis are doing really well. They are certainly much better than my last Continentals, especially at providing a more confident feeling at the front when it is raining.

Your Ferrari 458 Tyre Questions Answered

Tyres.co.uk lists Michelin Pilot Sport 4 S and Pirelli P Zero as options for 458 Italia tyres, with the former listing 235/35 ZR20 for front and 295/35 ZR20 for the rear. Both are standard factory fitments for Italia. For speciale and Run Flat variants, look up your registration and check the label on the driver side door for load rating and speed rating.

For specifications of 458 Italia tyres and/or tyre pressure, refer to the tyre pressure and type sticker located on the driver’s side door. This will give you the recommended front and rear fitments as well as the required cold pressure. Be sure that you check the handbook and registration as well if you have the Ferrari Italia, Spider, Speciale and Run Flat variants.

Although you do not need to replace the entirety of the tyres on your Ferrari 458, each of the models contains a specification that states that if you replace ANY tyre, the other must be replaced on the same axis. Since all road- going Ferrari 458 models are rear wheel drive there is no all wheel drive variant that requires all 4 tyres to be even. Therefore, when you mount new tyres, they must go on the rear axle.
