I read some great reviews and decided to buy some Michelin Pilot Sport Cup2 tyres for my road-legal track car, a Mazda RX8. These tyres offer great dry road handling and responsiveness just like other ultra-high-performance tyres that I have experienced. I won't be testing these tyres on wet roads and I suspect that they may not perform will on wet roads based on my assumption of their tread design. On the track these tyres excel. I specifically compared these tyres Cup2s with the Goodyear Eagle F1 Supersports and noted a small but confident improvement in stability and grip. I would track recommend track use.

My main use for these tyres is sprints and track days. When it comes to dry weather conditions, they are absolutely superb, however, when it comes to wet or damp conditions, I fear the risk too much when I am pushing my Porsche Cayman S to the limit. On average roads, they are decent but I am considering going for something a bit more durable next time, maybe a Pirelli Trofeo.

Please validate the staggered fitment, load indexing, speed rating, and specifications on the tyre pressure sticker before making a purchase.
For the Ferrari F8, the necessary information concerning tyre sizes can be found on the tyre pressure and type sticker located on the passenger side door when it is opened. This sticker also shows the rear and front tyre specifications and pressure. Though the sizes of the fitted tyres will be visible on the sidewall of the tyre, the most reliable method will be to verify the specifications listed on the sticker and the registration.
Ferrari F8 does not mandate that all four tyres are swapped out at the same time, but rather that the left and right main pairs are swapped out at the same time on the respective axle. The F8 being a rear wheel drive car means that there is no need to match tread FWD requirement of all four tyres, but the staggered fitment of front and rear tyres cannot be swapped. Thus, when one axle required new tyres, new pairs must go on the rear axle.
