SP SportMaxx Race Tyres description & features

The Dunlop SP SportMaxx Race uses a summer tread and a race derived compound to optimise dry cornering on summer track days. The outer edge of the tread uses large block elements to brace the tread during cornering. Speed is maintained in the centre of the tyre by the ribs which run the circumference of the tyre. Dunlop’s Multi Radius Tread distributes pressure through the tyre and over the surface of the road by using various curved profiles. Water is evacuated from the tyre via grooves which run the length of the tyre.

Jointless Belt Technology actively supports the tread by limiting the deformation of the tread at high speeds. The SP SportMaxx Race is optimised for both road and track use at temperatures above 7 degrees Celsius. This product is available at Tyres.co.uk.
