The Dunlop Grandtrek AT5 is a 50:50 all-terrain tyre designed for an equal split between on-road and off-road use. Their tread makes for a design that easily interprets and performs on tarmac, gravel, mud, and other unmade tracks. What makes the Grandtrek AT5 so effective is the use of large block patterns that have small biting edge spaces. These grip and press into loose earth. A rear to front groove passes through the edge of the outer block to allow and create a pathway for the tread to expel water, mud, and stones. The AT5 also has reinforced sidewalls to protect the tyre casing from impacts and cuts on rougher terrain.
The Grandtrek AT5 replaced the Grandtrek AT3 in the Dunlop rankings for on-road and off-road driving. Higher-load variants are also available for vehicles that support the transportation of gear, towing of trailers, and regular visits to the building site. At Tyres.co.uk we supply the Dunlop Grandtrek AT5.
