The Dunlop Sport Response is a summer passenger car tyre that focuses on wet braking and steering response, and has an A rating for wet grip in the majority of the range. The asymmetric tread has large, stiff blocks on the outer edge, and cornering support comes from the stiffer outer edge. Water is channelled away from the contact patch by the grooves that run around the tyre, and the more continuous mid-band helps the tyre maintain high speed stability.
Dunlop’s Wet Braking Technology has a resin enhanced tread to give better damp contact by creating more surface contact. With the aid of the Dynamic Response Technology, tread blocks are stiffened allowing more direct response for quicker steering inputs.
