The Goodyear UltraGrip Performance+ is designed for performance when stopping on cold, wet roads, or on ice and snow. Its winter grip technology consists of a specially formulated compound designed to remain pliable at lower temperatures. The directional tread is comprised of V-shaped channels that push water and pack away slush from the tyre's contact patch with the road. The blocks on the outer edge remain stable during braking and turning due to an external brace. Traction Protect Technology helps the tyre improve is braking contact with wet and dry pavement.

The UltraGrip Performance+ replaces the UltraGrip Performance Gen-1. The UltraGrip Performance+ SUV is its version that is specific to SUVs. Excellent in cold weather conditions. They offer a bit less grip however in damp conditions at 12 degrees. Other than that, can't complain. Used them before in the snow on an Octavia vRS and they were fantastic. Was able to get 40,000 miles on them.
