Mazda Demio Tyres
The Mazda Demio has reliably performed generations of small hatchback models for urban commutes as well as school runs and daily outings on the road. Depending on where you live, the Demio’s tyres must have a good grip and reliable braking in a country that experiences a lot of mixed weather. On the other hand, if comfort and quietness are the priority, then touring tyres would be the better choice. The Demio's smaller size means tyre choice must have a good trade-off between steering feel and control in all environments.
Because of the many generations, model years, trims, engines, and factory wheel choices, there isn't a universal fit for all Mazda Demios. It will not be possible to determine a single fitment for all Demios. The best route to take in order to determine the size, load index and speed rating of the Demio's tyres would be to look at the Demio's existing tyres, check the vehicle handbook, or look at the registration documents. This helps the Mazda Demio achieve its goals for control as well as ride comfort and safety while carrying weight.
Mazda Demio owners are able to utilise the services of Tyres.co.uk where they get to choose between a multitude of brands and different prices and performance levels of tyres. From there they can select the best tyre for their particular needs for the day and arrange for a local tyre fit at a participating shop.

They appear fine so far, although I still have to drive a long distance with them.

Tyre review for Kumho Ecowing ES31 175/60R15
I replaced the two rear tyres after doing the front ones and one tyre from the front and back needs to be inflated every 6 to 8 weeks.

Tyre review for Kumho Ecowing ES31 165/65R15
So far, they've been great and quieter than I thought they would be.
Ivan Brady
Tyre review for Kumho Ecowing ES31 215/60R16
The front tyres will most likely need to be replaced soon, while the rears are about halfway worn. Traction in wet conditions is good and the wear seems to be what would be expected.

Tyre review for Michelin Primacy 4 225/50R17
Steering is more direct and has better grip, while stopping is also good.
Bonnie-Rose Eathan
Tyre review for Michelin Primacy 4 195/55R16
Better traction of these tyres gives them better stopping distance. Previous tyres, of the same brand, had more than 2mm of tread, yet their stopping distance was clearly worse.

Tyre review for Michelin Primacy 4 235/60R18
They perform well in all weather conditions, and they in particular excel in rainy weather.

For 2014 to 2018 (DJ) Mazda Demio models on factory 15-inch wheels, Tyres.co.uk lists the Michelin Primacy 4 and Goodyear EfficientGrip Performance 2 in 185/65 R15, marked 88S. Please check the load index and speed rating before purchasing.
The Mazda Demio placard, located on the body side door opening and exposed when the driver’s door is opened, contains all the information regarding tyre size and pressure. It provides the approved tyre specifications and the recommended cold inflation pressure. Check all the information on the placard with the existing tyre and registration of the vehicle.
Mazda Demio does not require all four tyres to be replaced. It is recommended to have same size and type of tyre on each axle and on all four on 4WD variant. Avoid all mismatched replacement tyres. Based on UK tyre safety, the two new tyres must be fitted to the rear axle.
