The Goodyear EfficientGrip Performance is a premium summer touring tyre focused on improving wet braking and lowering rolling resistance. It features ActiveBraking technology which uses 3-dimensional tread blocks to increase surface area contact. Goodyear’s use of a silica compound on the tread improves grip on wet roads. FuelSaving technology reduces the energy loss within the tyre build, offering less rolling resistance and improved Fuel saving.

Goodyear replaced this line with the EfficientGrip Performance 2 in 2020. This next-gen tyre also has improvements in the summer touring capacity. EU labels vary by size, showing a maximum Fuel Efficiency class of B, Wet Grip class of A and an external noise class of 68 dB for the available versions. It also has an XL reinforced construction for vehicles with a higher load capacity. We supply the Goodyear EfficientGrip Performance at Tyres.co.uk.

For being used for a year and a half, there is plenty of tread remaining. Still likely has another 4 months of use until needing a replacement, probably will be the same brand. I have stuck my loyalty with this brand for years and it has yet to disappoint.

Since putting these tyres on my car, the handling on the country roads that I drive on has improved significantly. My car no longer skids, as the tyres have great traction in wet conditions and the tread depth is not an issue. There is also no noise coming from the tyres in the cabin and I have noticed an improvement in my fuel economy.
