Where is the TPMS reset button?

Identifying the TPMS reset button

The TPMS reset button is located in different spots depending on the vehicle make and model.

Possible locations include:

  • Under the steering column - Look for a small button that may be labelled SET or TPMS
  • Infotainment or vehicle settings menu - This can be accessed via touchscreen or dashboard buttons
  • In the glove compartment - This is rare but some models have it here

Vehicles that do not have a reset button

Some vehicles do not have a reset button and automatically reset themselves when you drive for several minutes at the correct tyre pressures. In other cases, it is necessary to follow a specific process in the settings menu.

Consult your handbook

The owner's handbook for your vehicle contains the procedure and exact location of the reset button. If you don't have a hard copy, you can often find digital copies on the manufacturer's website.
