When you book a tyre fitting with us, you can have peace of mind that the old tyre disposal and recycling charge is included in the fitting price. All you have to do is leave it to the fitting centre to take care of the removal.

Old tyres at home

If you received the tyres through mail order, or have old tyres of some other origin, you have a few choices:

• You can bring your tyres to your local household waste recycling centre (tip). Most of these places accept tyres, although some sites limit the number of tyres that can be dropped off per visit.
• Some local garages may also take old tyres, but there may be a small charge per tyre.

Note

In the UK, it is illegal to fly-tip (or dump) tyres. Always dispose of them legally and responsibly, as the fines for illegal dumping can be very high.
