Where is the TPMS reset button?

Finding the TPMS reset button

The location of the TPMS reset control varies by vehicle manufacturer and model.

Common locations

  • Under the steering column — A small button, sometimes labelled SET or TPMS
  • In the infotainment or vehicle settings menu — Accessed through the touchscreen or dashboard controls
  • In the glovebox area — Less common but found on some models

Vehicles without a physical button

Some vehicles do not have a dedicated reset button and instead reset automatically after you drive for a few minutes at the correct tyre pressures. Others require you to go through a specific sequence in the settings menu.

Check your handbook

The exact location and procedure is detailed in your vehicle's owner's handbook. If you do not have a physical copy, many manufacturers offer digital versions on their websites.
