Should I change all four tyres at once?
Replacing all four tyres at once
When to change all four
Changing all four tyres at the same time is ideal when they are all worn evenly and due for replacement. This ensures balanced grip and handling across the entire vehicle.
When two is sufficient
If only two tyres need replacing, you can change them as a pair. Fit the new pair to the rear axle for stability, and match them on the same axle by brand, size, tread pattern and wear level if possible.
Replacing just one
If only one tyre is damaged, replace it and match it as closely as possible with the tyre on the same axle. Ideally use the same brand, model and size. Significant differences in tread depth between tyres on the same axle can affect handling.
