Tyres

How do I tell if a tyre is developed for a specific car manufacturer?

Identifying manufacturer-specific tyres

Manufacturer-specific tyres carry a small but visible code on the sidewall, usually positioned near the tyre size markings. Each car manufacturer has its own unique code.

Common manufacturer markings

Sidewall markingCar manufacturer

MO Mercedes-Benz
MO1 Mercedes-AMG
AO Audi
RO1 Audi performance models
N0, N1, N2, N3, N4 Porsche
J Jaguar

LR Land Rover
T0 Tesla
HN Hyundai and Kia

Where to look

The marking is usually found on one side of the tyre, close to the size designation. It is typically small, so you may need to look carefully.

On Tyres.co.uk

You do not need to check the sidewall yourself. When you search by registration, our system identifies homologated options and highlights them in your search results when they are available for your vehicle.
