Vantra (RA18) Tyres description & features

The Hankook Vantra RA18 summer tyre has been designed for driving commercial vans on long-distance road trips. It has a tread-belt layer that caters to the need for a working van. The tyres each have a three-longitudinal-groove design that helps to channel water off the tyre surface while driving in the rain.

C-marked variants comply with Hankook’s commercial van tyres requirements. The variants can be easily distinguished from passenger car variants based on the markings on the sidewalls. The Hankook also refers to the variant as the Vantra LT RA18 where RA18 indicates the design of the light-commercial range of tyres. No issues at all. Tyre wear is normal. I'm getting about 20,000 miles with them. On the VW T6, all four tyres tend to wear down evenly.

The first 8 months were trouble free, but after that, problems began cropping up fast. The front left tyre had a particularly bad outer edge. I saw cracks in that tyre this morning. I plan to check the front right tomorrow as well.
