The Hankook Ventus Prime 4 X (K135A) is a summer SUV tyre focusing on optimising stop distance from higher speeds on wet roads and offering a longer tread life for crossovers, with an asymmetric design for heavier vehicles. Four longitudinal grooves quickly direct water to the tread’s outer edge. Seamless, small, zigzag slits on the inner tread blocks generate extra edge holding for when the tread’s surface is wet. Hankook’s Zigzag 3D Tread Technology combines with a silica-rich rubber that is engineered to even out tread wear.
Hankook’s High Mileage Compound rubber offers a greater tread life and says that this tyre offers a 20% greater tread life over the Ventus Prime 3 X.
